Youth Service Leadership

Roseville Kiwanis proudly fosters Service Leadership through programs like Key Club and Builders Club, empowering youth to serve, cultivate character, and hone leadership skills. In collaboration with the local Kiwanis club, middle and high school students engage in meaningful volunteer work, positively impacting their schools and communities. Through Key Club, high schoolers take on leadership roles, organizing service projects and community events, while Builders Club offers middle schoolers similar opportunities to lead and serve. These programs not only instill a sense of responsibility and compassion in young individuals but also provide them with practical leadership experience that will benefit them throughout their lives. Together, Kiwanis and its Service Leadership programs are shaping the leaders of tomorrow, one service project at a time.

Scholarships

The Roseville Kiwanis Scholarship program is committed to supporting the educational pursuits of deserving students in the Roseville and Rocklin High School Districts. Each year, we award over $25,000 in scholarships to exemplary students from the eight high schools: Roseville, Oakmont, Granite Bay, Woodcreek, West Park, Antelope, Whitney, and Rocklin. These scholarships provide vital financial assistance to students as they pursue their college dreams. Additionally, we recognize outstanding achievement in middle schools through the distinguished Hope of America award, celebrating young scholars who exhibit exceptional promise and dedication to academic excellence and community service. Through our scholarship program, Roseville Kiwanis is investing in the future leaders of our community and fostering a culture of academic achievement and service.
Helping families in need

Kiwanis Family House

The Kiwanis Family House, nestled on the UC Davis Children's Hospital campus near Shriners Hospital, is a beacon of hope and support for families facing medical crises. With a mission to cultivate a nurturing community around these families, the Family House provides a comforting haven during challenging times. Roseville Kiwanis demonstrates unwavering support by sponsoring a room, undertaking service projects to enhance the facility, and organizing regular collections for the pantry. This vital assistance ensures families have access to essential resources, including food, hygiene items, and more, alleviating some of the burdens they face. Through their dedication, Roseville Kiwanis embodies the spirit of service, compassion, and solidarity, making a profound difference in the lives of those navigating medical emergencies.

Socials and Potlucks

Roseville Kiwanis strengthens the friendships and bonds that sustain our club through regular social gatherings beyond our formal meetings and service projects. We aim to host one social each month and a potluck every quarter, giving members time to mingle, connect, and enjoy one another’s company in a relaxed setting. Among these gatherings are four annual traditions: our annual induction, the annual Christmas party, the Aktion Club Summer Picnic, and the Aktion Club Taco Feed Social. These events build the camaraderie that makes our service possible and help us welcome new members into the Kiwanis family.

Scouting

Roseville Kiwanis is proud to charter four Scouting organizations serving youth in Roseville and Rocklin: Roseville Boys Troop 1051, Roseville Girls Troop 1501, Roseville Pack 102, and Roseville Pack 1592. Our members serve as Chartered Organization Representatives and are active participants in the key-three leadership of these units, providing ongoing guidance and support. Through Scouting, young people learn the importance of community service while developing leadership skills that directly support Kiwanis’ mission of fostering youth service leadership. The core values of Scouting—character, citizenship, and leadership —align closely with the Objects of Kiwanis, reinforcing our shared commitment to building strong character, encouraging responsible citizenship, and strengthening the communities we serve.
