Where We Meet
The Kiwanis Club of Roseville meets in old town Roseville at the Pacific St Cafe every Thursday from 12:10 to 1:30 pm.
The Pacific Street Cafe is located at 301 Lincoln Street, Roseville, CA 95678.
Did you know that the Pacific St Cafe was the site of Roseville's first city hall?
Parking is limited in downtown Roseville. We recommend parking in the large lot across from the Opera House. It's a short walk from there to the restaurant.

Frequently Asked Questions About Kiwanis Club of Roseville
The Kiwanis Club of Roseville
Who is The Kiwanis Club of Roseville, and who do we serve?#
The Kiwanis Club of Roseville (aka Roseville Kiwanis) is a local service club that has been helping kids since 1949, when it was started by a group of merchants in Roseville Square. We serve the children and communities of Roseville, Rocklin, and Granite Bay. We celebrated our 75th anniversary on June 22, 2024.
How many members does the club have?#
Roseville Kiwanis is 54 members strong as of September 2026. Our 2026–2027 goal is to grow to at least 60 members, so there has never been a better time to join.
What does the club actually do?#
We raise money and roll up our sleeves for local kids. We teach you service leadership and community service in elementary, middle, and high school. Our club awards more than $25,000 in scholarships each year to students at eight high schools (Roseville, Oakmont, Granite Bay, Woodcreek, West Park, Antelope, Whitney, and Rocklin) and recognizes middle schoolers through the Hope of America award. We sponsor a room and stock the pantry at the Kiwanis Family House at the University of California (UC) Davis Children’s Hospital campus, and we have been a Platinum sponsor of the city’s Roseville Bikefest bike-safety event for many years. We operate the Rocklin Community Festival annually in May, which is an event that brings the whole community together for family fun.
What has the club done recently that I might have heard about?#
To mark our 75th anniversary in 2024, we gave $5,000 to each of 15 local non-profit organizations, a total of $75,000. We also helped start a Division 44-wide drive that collected more than 12,000 diapers for families served by Keaton’s Child Cancer Alliance. The California-Nevada-Hawaii district has recognized our club with Distinguished Club status for five consecutive years.
What is the club focusing on in 2026–2027?#
Under our 2026–2027 president, our goals are to grow to at least 60 members, add more fellowship through socials and potlucks, and get the word out about the club in the community. We are also launching a President’s Project promoting swim lessons for kids in Roseville and Rocklin and partnering with local Scouting units on a project.
What is the President’s Project?#
This year’s President’s Project helps more kids in Roseville and Rocklin learn to swim. Plans include sponsoring the Operation Swim program in Roseville, reaching out to the Rocklin Swim Team about its youth scholarships and adaptive swim program, and holding a swim suit drive for kids at Johnson Pool and in Rocklin. We also plan to sponsor a community night at the pool with a barbecue (BBQ) fundraiser. You can contribute to our President’s project by reaching out directly to our Club President, Myla Herbert, at mitchellsmom@surewest.net.
Who does the club work with in the community?#
We work with the cities of Roseville and Rocklin, school district leadership, and the Roseville Police Activities League (RPAL), which offers affordable youth programs built on positive relationships between kids and police officers. Our fundraisers support Feeding the Foothills, cancer treatment and recovery, foster care and adoption services, youth sports such as the Rocklin and Roseville Police Activities Leagues, Girl and Boy Scouts, and the Kiwanis Family House at UC Davis.
What is a typical club meeting like?#
We meet over lunch every Thursday from 12:10 to 1:30 p.m. at the Pacific Street Café in Old Town Roseville, a building that was once Roseville’s first city hall. Meetings are a relaxed mix of good food, catching up with friends, club news, updates on projects, and a program speaker. The invitation is always open, so stop in and see us. Lunch is on us for your first two visits.
Can I still be a member if I can’t attend a lunch meeting?
Yes! We are also implementing a monthly Kiwanis After Dark program for members that can’t attend our weekly lunch meeting.
The Kiwanis Club of Roseville Fundraisers
Why does the club hold fundraisers?#
Our fundraisers are how a club of 50+ volunteers can give tens of thousands of dollars to local kids every year. Our club netted more than $15,000 from our golf tournament, $20,000 from See’s Candies, $25,000 from fireworks, and more than $30,000 from the Rocklin Community Festival last year. Every dollar goes back into programs that serve local children and families.
What is the See’s Candy Pop-Up Store?#
Since 2007, our members have run a holiday See’s Candy pop-up store, a beloved local tradition. In 2025 it was open daily from Nov. 22 to Dec. 24 (except Thanksgiving) at 1070 Pleasant Grove Blvd., Suite 150, in the Safeway shopping center at Pleasant Grove Blvd. and Roseville Parkway. We have secured the same location for 2026. Members staff shifts, and shoppers help simply by buying candy.
What is the Fourth of July fireworks booth?#
Every year, our members sell safe and legal fireworks in the week before Independence Day. In 2026 the booth was open June 28 to July 4 at Junction Blvd. and Foothills Blvd. in West Roseville, with proceeds benefiting more than a dozen charities serving children in South Placer County. Working a booth shift is one of the easiest ways for a new member to jump in and meet people.
What is the Rocklin Community Festival?#
Our club sponsors the Rocklin Community Festival, a four-day event with carnival rides, live music, food trucks, vendors, and a beer garden at Johnson-Springview Park. The 2026 festival ran May 7–10, and the 2025 festival raised $34,000 for causes including Feeding the Foothills. The next Rocklin Community Festival will be held on May 6–9, 2027.
What other fundraisers does the club hold?#
The Tim Ching Memorial Golf Tournament, held with the Kiwanis Club of Citrus Heights at Catta Verdera Country Club in Lincoln, took place June 15, 2026. We also held a St. Patrick’s Corned Beef Dinner on March 13, 2026, at the Rocklin Event Center, and a Taco Feed at the Roseville Adult Recreation Center. This year’s President’s Project adds a BBQ fundraiser at a community pool night.
Where does the money go?#
Proceeds stay local and help children and families. Recent beneficiaries named by the club include Feeding the Foothills, cancer treatment and recovery, foster care and adoption services, the Rocklin and Roseville Police Activities Leagues, Girl and Boy Scouts, Tommy Apostolos, and the Kiwanis Family House at UC Davis. Funds also support our scholarships and youth programs.
How can members and the public help with fundraisers?#
Members help by signing up for shifts, selling tickets, finding sponsors, and inviting friends. The public helps by buying candy or fireworks from our booths, coming to the festival, playing in the golf tournament or sponsoring a hole, and attending our dinners. Watch our Facebook page and website for dates.
